Death Knell for Seal Hunt?

A recent Russian trade ban is set to have terminal consequences for the Canadian seal hunt. At last our longest running campaign appears to be over.

Typhoon Washi, which struck Mindanao in the Philippines over the weekend, has caused widespread devastation across the region. With nearly 1000 people officially dead and many more missing, the consequences for people and animals in the area are dire.

Pilot Cull to Go Ahead

Network for Animals is extremely disappointed to learn that the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has opted to ignore the scientific evidence and widespread public opposition to their proposed badger cull plans and will proceed early next year with a devastating cull of badgers.
