Seal Hunt
Take Action Now!

In 1987 citizens from around the UK forced the Canadian government to ban the killing of whitecoat seal pups by boycotting Canadian seafood. 10 Years on, with the full support of the Canadian government, the seal hunt is back and it is bigger and more cruel than ever.

Sealing is an off-season activity conducted by fisherman who earn about 5% of their annual income from killing seals and the rest from other commercial fisheries.

By boycotting Canadian seafood products and getting UK supermarkets to stop stocking them you can play a direct role in convincing sealers it is not in their financial interest to continue slaughtering seals.

ASDA has already stopped selling Canadian seafood products. With your help it won't be long before the others follow suit.

Please send a letter to the following 3 supermarket chains asking them to stop buying and stocking Canadian seafood products.
